Shell Collection

Abalone, Troca, and Mother of Pearl belong to a much harder shell specie than Capiz. These shells are cracked and shaped into exact dimensions by the artisan. Polishing, chemical and lacquer treatments are applied to create a smooth finish. The shells are carefully assembled like a jigsaw puzzle to form the picture frames and jewelry boxes.
