The Galleon Trade Collection is a US-based company located in the Greater Princeton, New Jersey area. We are an hour away from New York City and Philadelphia.
Our products reflect the exquisite beauty and richness of Philippine treasures from its land and sea. Our decorative boxes, lampshades, frames and table accessories are embellished with exotic shells like capiz, mother of pearl, abalone and troca. The native Filipino palm, buri, and pandan leaves are hand woven into colorful boxes and placemats. Our delicately embroidered pouches are hand sewed from jusi (raw silk) and banana thread. Known for their fine craftsmanship, our products are unique and innovative, yet elegant.
The Galleon Trade began in the late 16th century when Spanish galleon ships laden with silk, gold, and commercial goods sailed across the Pacific Ocean between Acapulco, Mexico and Manila, Philippines. World-renowned as the "Pearl of the Orient," the Philippines has been a natural hub for trade in Asia. Coconut oil is the top export product of its 7,100 islands. Today, the Galleon Trade Collection brings a glimpse of the Philippines to the rest of the world.
